Rajesh, a registered psychologist, has received training and experience in offering psychological assessment, intervention, and counselling services to adults and adolescents with various backgrounds who present challenges. Rajesh has assisted clients with learning disabilities, relationship and interpersonal issues, sleep issues, coping with stressful life events, transitions and changes, and emotional and mood-based disorders and difficulties (such as anxiety, depression, stress, and anger).
Rajesh uses evidence-based therapies including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness. Rajesh works with clients openly and non-judgmentally to help them understand their issues and explore their possibilities for change and action. Rajesh assists people in learning and putting into practice new coping mechanisms, empowering and beneficial ways of thinking and reacting to circumstances, improving communication, managing stress, anxiety, and negative emotions, and working towards and preserving good mental health.
After many years as a Medical Scientist, Rajesh earned his Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science from Deakin University, Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) from Federation University and Master's in Psychology (Clinical) from the Institute of Social Neurosciences. Rajesh is a fully registered psychologist with AHPRA.
