Yvonne has over 16 years of experience working in a variety of community health, acute care and private practice settings.
Yvonne has completed her Masters of Psychology (Counselling Psychology) from Swinburne University and is a registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor. Yvonne has considerable experience in working with adults and adolescents (15+) across a range of mental health difficulties, with a particular interest in

· Parenting/Carer support
Her therapeutic approach has a focus on relational and mindfulness-based practices, such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrated with CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and Systemic Family Theory. Yvonne’s values include Curiosity, Connection, Learning, Compassion, and Respect.
Yvonne has a keen interest in supporting the veteran, neurodivergent and the LGBTQIA+ communities by offering a style that is accepting, inclusive and accessible. Yvonne is endorsed by AusPATH and holds AAPi membership.
A typical session is an exchange whereby you feel empowered, respected and able to share your story. Yvonne utilises a collaborative approach to therapy, working with you to identify and adapt the parts that are no longer serving you.
Outside of working, you'll find Yvonne spending time with her family, including her Kelpie Milo or engaging in Melbourne's vibrant arts scene.
